Welcome to the Principality of Tir Righ

The Principality of Tir Righ is located in British Columbia, and Northern Washington, and is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA), and a proud part of the Kingdom of An Tir. The SCA is an international not-for-profit educational organization which studies the Middle Ages by recreating the pastimes and crafts of pre-seventeenth century western Europe.

NEW Curia Date!

To accommodate the online judging schedule for the Arts & Sciences and Bardic Championships, Curia will be postponed one week, from Thursday, October 30 to Thursday, November 6. Financial @ 6:30 followed by Curia.

We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we support our talented artisans and performers during this important part of the competition process.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you at Curia on November 6.

Road to Kingdom UNOFFICIAL Survey

Your Road to Kingdom committee (RtK) is excited to present to the populace of Tir Righ, with the support and approval of the Kingdom Seneschal, our first survey. We are seeking input from a wide range of SCA members and non-members. This is an UNOFFICIAL survey and will provide RtK with information to inform the way forward. If there is sufficient support to move forward, there will be a huge amount of work. The committee will need much support and many volunteers (see the final question in this survey), and we are hesitant to go much further if there is not support from the populace.

This survey will remain open until the Sunday after Coronet Tournament, November 9th at 5 pm. PLEASE SHARE the URL or QR Code for the survey far and wide! Please note we will not be sharing any personally identifiable information unless you volunteer to help and then it will only be shared with the committee member most appropriate for the work you would like to take on. Also, please only one response per person.

The RtK Committee is committed to bringing information to the populace. This is not a one-way communication channel. We commit to providing, in our quarterly report and at every Principality event, updates, opportunities to meet with the committee and as much transparency and accountability as possible.
Lastly, this will not be our final unofficial survey. If we move forward with this work, there will be others to follow on a variety of topics.

Once the work has been completed, there will also be an official survey from the Kingdom Seneschal’s office. This survey will be for Tir Righ SCA members ONLY.
