The Shire of Danescombe invites one and all to our third annual
Tournament of Roses to be held on February 4th, 2006 in Westbank, BC.
There will be Armored and Rapier tournaments. Formats will be decided
the day of. However, inspirations are mandatory, as these will be
inspiration tourneys. There will also be an A&S Competition, with the
theme being “a Rose in any medium”. A potluck feast will follow in the
evening.

Site Info
The event will be at Lakeview Heights Community Center, 860
Anders Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Z 1J9. The event opens at 10am on February 4,
2006 and closes at 11pm on the same day.
Site Fees
Adults (16 & older): $4.00, Youth (7-15): $2.00, 6 & Under are free. Please make
cheques payable to: NSCA - Shire of Danescombe. Please note: The $4 NMS
will be in effect. There will be no family cap or evening only fee for
this event.
Site Directions
Make your best way to Westbank, BC. If coming from the
South, turn right onto Boucherie Rd off of HWY 97N. If coming from the
North, turn Left. Drive 5 min; turn Left onto Anders Rd. The site is
about half way down Anders Rd.
Schedule of Events
Each fighter must have an inspiration present. You can bring a special someone, or make someone's day at the event. This is a double elimination tourney.

The theme is a rose in any medium; documentation is not required, but is encouraged. There are reports that children are even making items to enter.
Lady Mederie is the feastocrat. Please make sure that you bring a list of ingredients so that she can eliminate cross contamination and so that those who have allergies can eliminate exposure.
Viscountess Bernadette Ebhilín Árd of Lions Gate will be attending. If she is not too tired from the days events, she may consent to lead us in dancing.
The site is discreetly damp (BYOB) and SCA and mundane rules will be strictly enforced (no minors with alcohol; have a DD; no alcohol outside of the hall)
