Moire Sinister
1457 - 1480
Moire Sinister met her tragic end as she made her way to the annual Machiavelli Feast on November 1, XXXVIII AS. As an assassin made his escape from the feast, Moire was trampled on the narrow roadway under the iron shod hooves of his galloping horse. Lord Harleigh Dhai found her crumpled form laying broken and pale in the winter snow.
"Moire, you are sorely missed"
Qa'Len Qa'Den
(Unknown)
Qa'Len Qa'Den also met his untimely end during the Machiavelli Feast on November 1, XXXVIII AS. Yet his story is one of the foolishness of youth. It was Qa'Len's first visit to the Yale's Head Tavern that evening, and he was swept away with the intrigue and behind-the-scenes machinations that take place during polling for the title of Doge. It came to be known during the feast that Qa'Len had purchased a dagger and was planning to assassinate one of Danescombe's Peers. A member of the Deft Hand was approached and offered a contract to assassinate Qa'Len. As members of this dangerous brotherhood rarely take contracts during the annual Machiavelli celebration , (preferring to leave the fun to amateurs), this contract was at first declined. But once the Deft Hand learned that this young upstart had targeted a Peer, the contract was fulfilled free of charge - the proffered payment donated to charity.
Qa'Len Qa'Den's lifeless body was spirited away by members of his northern tribe, and rumour has it they have taken him to a far-off realm to attempt to restore him to life in some unholy form of pagan resurrection.
"Qa'Len, we hardly knew ye lad, and then you were gone"
