ban-Tanist	Principality of Tir Righ Heir to the princess of Tir Righ.
Baron/Baroness	Kingdom of An Tir A title bestowed by the Crown on those who act as representatives of the Crown in the baronies of the kingdom; usually referred to as "Landed" or "Territorial". The title is different from Court Barons/Baronesses
Baroness' Champions	Barony of Lions Gate At both the Baronial Banquet and May Bardic, the Baroness of Lions Gate announces her Champions for the next 6 months. She has Champions for Archery, Arts, Combat, Rapier, Science, and Service. Lions Gate Baroness' Champions
Beacon of Insula Magna	Barony of Seagirt This recognition is bestowed upon residents of Insula Magna who have displayed a willingness and dedication to serve the entire island community. Through their efforts the SCA throughout the entire island is enriched. Created by James and Tangwystl.
Bear, Order of the	Barony of Seagirt Awarded to adolescent gentles, members are selected by recommendation to the Baron and Baroness of Seagirt, in three categories. The Silver Bear is for arts and sciences, the Golden Bear is for service, and the Black Bear is for martial prowess and skill. Bear Recipients
Belated Rose, Honour of the	Kingdom of An Tir A mark of Favor given by the Ladies of the Rose and the Ladies of Valorous Estate for courteous behaviour.
Black Feather	Shire of Ravensweir A shire token for service.
Black Tower	Shire of Eisenmarche A token for service from outside the shire. Recipients are entitled "Favoured Friends of Eisenmarche" or FFoE.
Blood of the Penguin, The	Shire of Cae Mor A token for service to the shire. Created 11-Dec-2004 AS 39.
Bunny's Crook	Shire of Shittimwoode A token for excellence in arts and sciences. Bunny's Crook Recipients
Bunny's Fang	Shire of Shittimwoode A token for excellence in martial prowress in any martial discipline. Bunny's Fang Recipients

Captain of the Grenadiers	Barony of Seagirt The Captain of Grenadiers is chosen annually at the Daffodil Rapier competition. The victor is named 'Captain' of the Company of Grenadiers and will hold that rank until another is chosen a year later. Those who have held this rank are recognized in perpetuity as members of the company of Grenadiers following their term.
Carp, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Created by Queen Lao, membership is awarded by the Queen for excellence in persona development.
Chivalry, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Membership carries a Patent of Arms and is awarded by the Crown to those who have demonstrated qualities of nobility and outstanding achievement in armoured combat in the kingdom.
Coronet	Principality of Tir Righ Rulers of the principality, name the Prince and Princess.
Count/Countess	Kingdom of An Tir The title earned by those who have served once as the King or Queen and usually accompanied by the awarding of a Patent of Arms by the Crown.
Court Baron/Baroness	Kingdom of An Tir A title bestowed by the Crown usually to founding and/or stepping-down Territorial Barons/Baronesses and Peers who have given long term service to the kingdom.
Crimson Stag	Shire of Hartwood Awarded for excellence in fighting (all forms) within the shire.
Crown	Kingdom of An Tir Rulers of a kingdom, namely the King and Queen.
Crown Prince	Kingdom of An Tir Heir to the king.
Crown Princess	Kingdom of An Tir Heir to the queen.

Defender	Barony of Lions Gate Defenders of Lions Gate are decided by competition and right of arms, for Combat, Rapier, Archery, Arts & Sciences and Bardic. Defender Recipients
Doctorate of Saint Giles	College of Saint Giles One of two degrees available through Saint Giles College, neither of which are recognised outside of the college. The Doctorate is for one who completes a self-designed degree approved by the masters. This program is designed to encourage and support individual research in a particular area of interest.
Duke/Duchess	Kingdom of An Tir A title achieved by those who have served at least twice as the Sovereign or Consort of a kingdom.

Fellowship of Saint Giles	College of Saint Giles One of two degrees available through Saint Giles College, neither of which are recognised outside of the college. The Fellowship is for one who has completed the curriculum of core and elective courses. This program is designed for a newcomer to gain the information and experience neccessary to enjoy our style of living history.
Forget-me-not	Kingdom of An Tir A token of personal Favor given by the Queen of An Tir, first created by Princess Maelen of An Tir.
Fury of the Lion	Kingdom of An Tir A three-tiered commission given for the duration of the Sovereign's reign for war fighting as follows and the regalia gained during this commission may be retained and displayed after the Sovereign reign: Defender of the Realm - given to individuals on the war field for ferocity in battle. Captain of the Realm - given to the leader of a 5-10 man unit that serves the King and kingdom in times of war during the duration of a King's reign. Commander of the Realm - given to the leader of a 10+ man unit that serves the King and kingdom in times of war during the duration of a King's reign.

Gilded Dinghy	Shire of Eisenmarche A token given for tomfoolery above and beyond the strict call of duty. This is given to those who excel in their ability to remind us that this is, after all, a game.
Glowing Ember, Order of the	Principality of Tir Righ An award given to children to recognize their chivalry, honour and service to the principality, and to fan and nurture their potential. Created by ban-Fhlaith Bernadette.
Gold Star	Shire of Frozen Mountain Given for service to the shire.
Golden Acacia	Shire of Shittimwoode This token is awarded to shire members who have served above and beyond the call of sanity. It is the highest honour the shire can bestow. Golden Acacia Recipients
Golden Apple	Shire of Appledore A token given for service to the shire. Golden Apple Recipients
Golden Apple Seed	Shire of Appledore A token given to those who show promise in service to the shire. Golden Apple Seed Recipients
Golden Fawn	Shire of Hartwood A token given to children for excellence in arts and sciences. Golden Fawn Recepients
Golden Galleon	Shire of Eisenmarche A token for excellence in arts and sciences.
Golden Pinecone	Shire of Coill Mhor A serivce token granted by the seneschal.
Golden Stag	Shire of Hartwood Given for excellence in arts and sciences with the shire.
Golden Swan	Shire of Appledore A persona development challenge for female personas. Golden Swan Recipients
Goutte de Sang	Kingdom of An Tir Membership carries a Grant of Arms and is awarded by the Crown to those who have given excellent service to the kingdom.
Grant of Arms	Kingdom of An Tir The second level of armigerous rank. Those who have achieved a Grant level award are given the designation of His Lordship or Her Ladyship.
Grenadiers	Barony of Seagirt See Captain of the Grenadiers
Grey Goose Shaft	Kingdom of An Tir A Grant level award given by the Crown for excellence in archery.
Guardian of Tir Righ	Tir Righ Bestowed by the Coronet to Champions who have successfully fulfilled all the duties and responsibilities as Champion and abided by all laws and customs of a Champion of Tir Righ.
Gules Raven	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for service to the shire.
Gules Ravens Rook/ Argent/Or	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for rapier combat authorization / excellency in rapier combat / service to the advancement of rapier combat arts.
Gyfu	Shire of Cáe Mór Definition unknown.

Hafoc, Order of the	Principality of Tir Righ An award given for work in the martial areas toward bettering the principality (teaching, organizing and fighting). These areas of rapier, archery, heavy and fighting shall be considered of equal value.
Hart's Blood	Shire of Hartwood A token given to a rapier fighter in the shire in honour of their first event where they were authorised and fought. Hart's Blood Recipients
Hastae Leonis, Ordo	Kingdom of An Tir A Grant level award given by the Crown for excellence and chivalry in the pursuit and practice of the art of war.

Kingdom Protector	Kingdom of An Tir Archery Champion of the kingdom.
Knight	Kingdom of An Tir A member of the Order of Chivalry who has sworn fealty to the Throne upon his/her elevation to the Peerage.
Knott Yett, Order of the	Barony of Lions Gate An award given to recognize the contributions of younger members of the barony perhaps "not yet" ready for a kingdom service award. Knott Yett Recipients

Laurel, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Membership carries a Patent of Arms and is awarded by the Crown of An Tir to those who have demonstrated qualities of nobility and outstanding achievement in the arts and sciences in the kingdom.
Leaf of Merit (Inactive)	Kingdom of the West An armigerous service award.
Lector Ithra	Kingdom of An Tir A degree granted by the University of Ithra upon completion of a prescribed set of classes. There are two degrees: Lector Artis and Lector Scientaie.
Leo Minor	Kingdom of An Tir Given to teens of An Tir for continued service. Created by King Tiernan and Queen Miranda.
L'Etoile d'Argent, Ordre de	Principality of Tir Righ Award given for arts and sciences efforts done to further the principality.
Lily, Order of the	Principality of Tir Righ An award given by the Coronet to the inspiration of the fighter who finished second in the Coronet List of Tir Righ. Recipients are inducted into the order once only. Created by Prince Ulf I & Naqiba Celdae.
Lion of An Tir / Honour of the Lion	Kingdom of An Tir Created by Queen Hlutwige, a mark of Favor given once a reign to an individual who embodies the ideals of the Society.
Lion's Arrow, honour of the	Kingdom of An Tir A mark of Favor given by the Crown to those who have completed a term as the Kingdom Protector (Archery Champion).
Lion's Claw, Order of the	Barony of Lions Gate An award for long term service to the barony, awarded by the Baron. Lion's Claw Recipients
Lion's Club	Kingdom of An Tir An award given by the Crown to children who have shown noble merit.
Lion's Fang, Order of the	Barony of Lions Gate Members consist of past Defenders of the barony.
Lion's Heart, Honour of the	Kingdom of An Tir A mark of Favor given by the Crown to those who have completed a term as the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Champion.
Lion's Mark, Order of the	Barony of Lions Gate An award for long term contribution to the arts and sciences within the barony, awarded by the Baron and Baroness. Lion's Mark Recipients
Lion's Pride	Kingdom of An Tir Given to children serving as Prince or Princess Royale at the end of their parents' reign. Created by King Tiernan and Queen Miranda.
Lion's Rapier, Honour of the	Kingdom of An Tir A mark of Favor given by the Crown to those who have completed a term as the Champion of Rapier Combat.
Lion's Strength	Kingdom of An Tir Given for consistent and significant contribution to the Kingdom for 20 or more years of outstanding service. Created by King Tiernan and Queen Miranda.
Lion's Sword, Honour of the	Kingdom of An Tir A mark of Favor given by the Crown to those who have completed a term as the Champion of An Tir.
Lion's Torse, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Founded by King Steingrim, membership is awarded by the King to those whose armour worn on the field is functional, historically accurate, and esthetically pleasing.

Magistrae Ithra	University of Ithra A degree granted to individuals who have successfully taught an Ithra class three times.
Mano d'Oro	Kingdom of An Tir A token of Favor given by the Kingdom Minister for Arts and Sciences for significant service to furtherance of the arts and sciences in the kingdom.
Master at Arms	Kingdom of An Tir A member of the Order of Chivalry who did not swear fealty upon their elevation to the Peerage to the Thrones of An Tir. This was originated for those who could not swear fealty because of modern loyalty oaths.
Mortar and Pestle	Barony of Lions Gate Awarded for the most memorable meal of the previous year by the Baroness of Lions Gate. Mortar and Pestle Recipients
Muckin' Tall Maul	Kingdom of An Tir An award given by the previous recipient for conspicuous ferocity in the Crown Tournament of An Tir.

Pelican, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Membership carries a Patent of Arms and is awarded by the Crown to those who have demonstrated qualities of nobility and outstanding achievement in service to the kingdom.
Pernicious Lily, Order of the	Kingdom of An Tir Given for extremely entertaining "death throes" upon the field of combat.
Pewter Raven, Limited	Shire of Ravensley A limited token given to the people who designed, carved and cast the first set of Shire tokens.
Precedence	The ordering of a rank from highest to lowest in accordance with the bearer's right to superior honour on occasions of ceremony.
Prince	Principality of Tir Righ Ruler of the principality.
Princess	Principality of Tir Righ Ruler of the principality.
Prince Royale and Princess Royale	Kingdom of An Tir Children of the Crown of An Tir, who may wear a circlet with a single point during the reign of their parents. Created by King Tiernan and Queen Miranda.
Princes' Favour	Principality of Tir Righ In the reign of Kheron I & Ksenia I, Prince Kheron chose to show favour to those who gave Him exemplary service. Thus the Princes' favour was born.
Princess' Talon of Favour	Principality of Tir Righ Given by the Princess as a token of appreciation to those She finds have greatly aided Her during the reign. Created by Princess Thora.
Purpure Raven	Shire of Ravensley Youth and child service token.

Raven's Blood, Order of the	Principality of Tir Righ Created by Prince Ulf IV & Princess Caoimhinn, a mark of favour given once per reign to an individual who embodies the ideals of the Society.
Red Flame, Order of the	Principality of Tir Righ Created by Amira Celdae, the award is given for persona development, encampments, clothing, and other ways that encourage and further the image of medievalism within the principality.
Rising Star	Shire of Eisenmarche Given for outstanding service to the shire by an individual new to the SCA.

Sable Chime, Award of the	Kingdom of An Tir An award bestowed for excellence in musical display. It was created by Queen Mahliqa. To be given by the Crown for a specific excellence and or inspirational performance, or continuing performance throughout the kingdom.
Sable Raven	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for outstanding service to the constabulary.
Sable Raven Seneschal's Favour	Shire of Ravensley A limited token presented to an outgoing seneschal. The outgoing seneschal may also award this to the person who helped them most throughout their duty in office.
Sable Ravens Rook/ Argent/Or	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for fighter authorization in heavy combat / excellency in heavy combat / service to the advancement of heavy combat arts.
Saint Giles Spade	College of Saint Giles Definition needed.
Scapula Leonis	Shire of Lionsdale A token of appreciation to those who have put their shoulder to the wheel in service to the shire.

Sea Otter, Order of the	Barony of Seagirt Children's award for service to the barony. Sea Otter Recipients
Seagull, Order of the	Barony of Seagirt A baronial award for service in depth and over a long period of time. Seagull Recipients
Senechal's Token	Shire of Krakenfjord A small pilgrim’s token of pewter or glass to prove that you have physically aided the hosting of a shire event. Without one your actual membership in the shire can be challenged.
Serpent's Tooth	Shire of Appledore A token given for authenticity above and beyond the call of sanity. Serpent's Tooth Recipients
Shattered Spear	Principality of Tir Righ A non-armigerous award given to the fighter showing the most ferocity on the tournament field. Created by Prince Einar.
Silent Hammer	Barony of Seagirt An award for unheralded achievement in the sciences. Silent Hammer Recipients
Silent Harp	Barony of Seagirt An award for unheralded achievement in the arts. Silent Harp Recipients
Silver Cygnet	Shire of Cragmere A children's token for excellence in service, arts and sciences, and war arts. The token is a pendant with at least one bead: red for service, green for arts and sciences, and blue for war arts. Silver Cygnet Recipients
Silver Fawn	Shire of Hartwood A token given to children for excellence in service within the shire. Silver Fawn Recepients

Title	An appellation of honour attached to a person by virtue of their rank, precedence, or office.
Traverse Board	Shire of Eisenmarche Token given by the seneschal for service to the shire.
Troubador of the Lion, Honour of the	A mark of Favour, given by the Crown to one who as served as Bardic Champion of the Kingdom. Created by King Thorin and Queen Dagmaer.

Vert Raven	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for outstanding involvement from a newbie.
Vert Ravens Rook/ Argent/Or	Shire of Ravensley Token granted for active target weaponry participation / excellency in target weaponry / service to the advancement of target weaponry arts.
Viking Warlord	Shire of Ravensley Heavy Combat Champion of the Shire.
Viscount/Viscountess	Principality of Tir Righ The title achieved by those who served as Prince or Princess of Tir Righ. This rank usually is accompanied by a Patent of Arms.
